AI Creators for High Schoolers – Session 1

📌 Welcome to AI Creators for High Schoolers

AI Creators: Session 1 is an exciting, hands-on introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI) designed for curious middle schoolers in grades 9–12. Over the course of 18 weeks, students will explore the foundations of AI, discover where it appears in everyday life, and experiment with real-world tools to build creative projects using the power of smart technology.

In Quarter 1, students will learn what AI is, how it works, and how machine learning powers everything from Siri to self-driving cars. They’ll also dive into key discussions about ethical AI, including bias and fairness. The quarter concludes with a personal project called “AI in My Life,” where students creatively showcase the ways they interact with AI in the real world.

In Quarter 2, students will shift gears into AI-powered creativity. They will use tools to generate music, visual art, and original stories—all guided by artificial intelligence. Each student will then choose a favorite medium to produce their own “AI-Generated Masterpiece” to showcase in a virtual gallery.
